Role Description
This is a Project based role (2-3 Months) for a Senior WSO2 Developer based in Islamabad. The position is 100% onsite in Islamabad. As a Senior WSO2 Developer role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions using WSO2 products like Enterprise Integrator, API Manager, and Identity Server. Responsibilities include working with mediators, payload management, exception handling, and message flows, often in the context of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and API management. Desire Skills include Java, WSO2-specific knowledge, and experience with API protocols and data formats.

Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and manage integration solutions: This includes designing and implementing solutions using WSO2 tools like MI/EI (Message Integrator/Enterprise Integrator), API Manager, and API Gateway.
· Work with mediators: Understanding and utilizing various mediators within the WSO2 platform to transform and route messages.
· Payload and variable management: Working with data structures, formats, and transformations within integration flows.
· Scopes and exception handling: Implementing and managing scopes for different parts of integration flows, and handling errors gracefully.
· Message flow design: Designing and optimizing message flows within the WSO2 platform.
Skills and Qualifications:
· WSO2 expertise: Strong understanding of WSO2 products, particularly EI, APIM, and IAM.
· Programming languages: Proficiency in Java and possibly other relevant languages like XML and XPath.
· API knowledge: Understanding of API protocols (e.g., REST, SOAP), data formats, and API modeling.
· Design Patterns: Knowledge of common design patterns used in software development.
· Software development lifecycle: Experience with all phases of software development, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
· Certification: WSO2 certifications (e.g., Certified WSO2 Developer) will be preferred.
