Role Overview
We are looking for an ambitious and enthused programmer with strong foundations in Angular & Java, to join Global Rescue as an Associate Software Engineer – Java Full Stack Developer. This is an entry-level position ideal for Fresh
Graduates and Entry Level Professionals. As part of the Global Rescue software development team, you will be required to develop software applications in Angular, Java, SpringBoot, Microservices, JPA and Hibernate.
Responsibilities
• * Develop moderately complex software in Angular, Angular CLI, Java, or other selected languages/tools for our products and/or applications consistently following coding standards and in accordance with applicable software development methodology and release processes.
• * Develop Java-based application documents using frameworks/tools like SpringBoot, Microservices, JPA, Hibernate and SQL.
• * Learn and provide reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques, Learn and perform technical root cause analysis and outline corrective actions for given problems.
• * Create & execute unit tests for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability/integrity of solutions.
• * Optimally utilize software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes (Maven, Git/GitLab), and debuggers to follow defined software development process.
• * Willingness to take ownership of code and taking initiative to implement features and bug fixes in order to make product better.
• * Help application support team when Level III support is required by investigating underlying cause and perform required code fix.
• * Document the design of solution interfaces, implementations, and dependencies.
• * Learn and adopt new frameworks, tools and technologies.
• * Complete any other technology/software development and IT infrastructure activities as necessary.
Qualifications
• Bachelors in IT/Computer Science from well-reputed university/institution.
• 0-2 years of proven experience in Angular, Java, SpringBoot, JPA, Hibernate and Spring AOP
• Excellent problem-solving skills and comfortable in writing complex code that optimally utilize Java Collections and other APIs.
• Experience with JUnit, Git/GitLab, Maven, TDD and CI/CD.
• Experience and knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis/Design and using software best practices.
• Hands on SQL programming experience in any of the following databases: MySQL/MariaDB/Postgres SQL/SQL Server.
